Murad Askerov Biography
The seal of the email is how it happens - two completely strangers, having met, suddenly instantly captured the community not momentary, but endowed with “strategic depth”. It happened - and there are witnesses to that - when my acquaintance with the folk poet Dagestan, the bearer of the rich literary Kumyk language, Badrutdin Magomedov. And this acquaintance took place before a trip to the anniversary holiday of Vajaoba, in the native village of Vazhi Pshaveli Chargali, in the edge of the Middle Kingdom, "where rocks are hidden in the clouds, where people are free as eagles." The reason-the summer from the day of the death of the creator of a special world, fulfilled by the ideals of nobility and humanity-somehow did not fit into consciousness.
What death is imperious over this great personality and his literary genius? No, we did not want to say that. And we will never want to. Badrutdin Magomedov was invited to Vajaob, among other poets - translators of the poem Vazhi Pshavela “Guest and Master”. And this is the folk poet of Karachay-Cherkessia Salikh Gurtuev, the People's Poet of Kalmykia Erdni Eldshev, the folk poet Dagestan Aminat Abdulmanapov, who could not come, but transferred a colorful publication of the poem as a gift.
Another ascetic is the translator of the poem “Guest and the Master” into the Avar language of Abdullah Daganov, unfortunately, left this world. But his work was appreciated in the homeland of Vazhi Pshavel. The topic affected by the Georgian genius was and remains the most relevant, unfading topic under the sky of the Caucasus. I think the Kumyk reader will share my love for the heroes of this eternal poem - so, after ordinary phrases when meeting, Badrutdin Magomedov began our long and unusually interesting conversation for me.
Sitting in a minibus and gradually moving to an increasingly higher level of frankness in a conversation with my senior fellow, I suddenly went to the “Georgian trace” in Badrutdin’s biography. However, let's give the floor to our guest: “Here, read, I wrote out something interesting about our relationships here,” Badrutdin gives me a touching notebook sheet, dotted with bead handwriting-a living piece of paper, and not Kegl, the size of A4.
It is symbolic that this street was subsequently named Avenue of Friendship. Georgia belongs to an exceptional place in the history of the culture of Dagestan. In your famous Shota Rustaveli Theater Institute in the last century, in different years, Kumyk, Lak and Avar studios functioned fruitfully. Their graduates today rose to the title of folk and honored artists of Dagestan and Russia.
For example, Scandarbek Tulparov, chief director of the Russian Drama Theater in Makhachkala, Honored Artist of Russia, Honored Artist of Russia; People's Artist of Dagestan Baisoltan Osaev and even more than ten eminent theatrical figures - all of them are “fed” by the Georgian theater school, glorified around the world. And in my native TSU there was a department of Caucasian languages, a real forge of the North Caucasian humanities, many of whom, under the leadership of Georgian scientists, defended the dissertations, became doctors of sciences, and not “paper” ...
On the scenes of the theaters of Dagestan, Georgian plays were staged - starting in the years. Aksakals to this day can recall the full -time andzor performances based on the play of the Georgian playwright Sandro Shanshiashvili. And later the Georgian repertoire adorned our theaters. These were the immortal “Hanum” by A. Tsagarsel and her variation-“Keto and Kote” ...
In total, in the Kumyk musical and drama theater, there were no failures in its history, there were no failures. But the most deafening success fell on the play “I, Grandmother, Iliko and Hilarion” - the full house continued for a month, came from afar, not sparing time for the road. And schoolchildren were brought by buses, not forcibly, the children themselves were eager to see this performance.
I know what I’m talking about, because I worked for five years in the position of applied the Kumyk drama theater. For a rest, I remembered communication with Nodar Dumbadze in Moscow - he came to visit us, listeners of the highest literary courses. Imagine only: in Moscow, at the Schukin School, the Kumyk stage speech was also also taught. My Tuhum - the generic branch - is distinguished by musicality.
I remember, as a child, my grandmother is given, the mother of Ismanni, who played the harmonies, and her three sisters sang “Suliko” in the evenings - in Kumyk, but the same melody and with the refrain “Garden Har, Suliko’s Suliko” ... I did not understand what this song was about, but I listened to my breath, because my soul prompted it: here it was a real feeling, genuine, genuine.
Sadness. How I love Suliko ... How can you not love Suliko?! Both my grandfather Tazhutdin and Father Magomed were masters for the manufacture of folk musical instruments. Their kumuzes were famous throughout Dagestan. At the beginning of the war, his father was wounded, his mother came to him to the hospital. There I was conceived and was born in the year. Alas, his father did not find out about this: he was supposed to be transferred to Tbilisi for treatment, but he left the hospital as a volunteer again for the front line - and went missing. In our village, Karabudakhkent was lived by the Russian Wrestling Champion Anvar Muradov, an athlete, musically very gifted.
And so he is hard to pierced after the injury-I was leggy, his hands did not obey when playing the piano, and on the violin could still “build” something, his hand moved towards the bow. Plus, he was one of the strongest chess players of Dagestan - out of respect for his talents and willpower, tournaments arranged right houses by Anvar, and in them he usually went out the winner, rarely was visible to the second place, but never below.
And now he somehow says to me: “I fell in love with the Georgian champion Non Gapondashvili. Let's write a song, you are words, I am music. ” And you believe, really wrote, and I performed it, being a member of the Dagestan lyric quartet, at many concerts and evenings of folk music. We will correct this misunderstanding on your next visit when Badrutdin Magomedov will appear in Georgia as an “Honored Worker of Culture of the Russian Federation”.
After all, you are presented to the assignment of this title, and I will take the courage to familiarize the reader with the track record, more than convincing for the most demanding arbitration. So, my companion is a famous poet and translator, a tireless herald of folk culture and literature, editor of a unique book publishing house, releasing literature at 14!
As one of the developers and performers of the first book project, Badrutdin Magomedov opened the way to many young talents, who later became famous writers and poets. Member of the Union of Writers of the USSR and a member of the board of the Union of Writers of the Republic of Dagestan, the author of more than 20 poetic collections, really in demand and loved by the people.
What a stylistic figure was found, however ... - But do not ask what this poem is about, still until the morning I will not hasten with an answer. I’ll give you a book, and figure it out. Let's directly from the book of their assessment and catch them. For example, this: “Epically written in scale, emotionally, philosophically capacious. The aphoristic syllable, metaphoricality and depth of the poetic word ...
How never today we need the temple of the spirit today, and we are offered a house of household services for the body. The dramatic poem "Film of Paradise" is addressed to the soul and mind. She is about a man who is fighting all his life with himself, being an evil and virtue ”of Suliete Kusov, the co -chair of the Caucasian house. And in this regard, a special place is occupied by the theme of the fall of Adam and Eve.
Here, sin is interpreted as an act, which goes against God's commandment ... Getting rid of sin in repentance, because, widely using the forms of parables and preaching, resorting to philosophical and religious symbols, the author develops a special kind of didactic verse, a high and dense verbal system ... In the drama, the absolute spiritual principle is compared with clean, white in the drama light.
After the fall, she comes into contact with materiality, the personification of which is twilight and darkness. But the darkness is won by love - the love of the Almighty for its children, which has neither the beginning nor the limit: it does not accept the transient phenomena ... The topic chosen by the author is not the fruit of artistic fantasy. The sources of his inspiration were the sacred books and traditions of Judaism, Christianity and Islam.
The author made an attempt to philosophical understanding of the concepts of being, secrets and the essence of the universe and the human worldview. The unifying idea embedded in the drama emphasizes and enhances the relevance and modernity of the topic these days, when unjustified hostility is still present between individual representatives of different religions.
From this follows the author’s appeal to eternal topics, rich in archetypes: word, light, death, earth, love, fate ”Murat Asker, candidate of philosophical sciences. Tell us briefly about the Kumyki - who are they, what are the glorified ... - We are an ancient song people. In our dialect, the clay books of my ancestors-the Sumerians ... Our Earth is at the Great Silk Road, at the very sea of the Caspian, where in ancient times our capital Anji-Kala bloomed, translated from Kumyk-a pearl hail located in the vicinity of Makhachkala.
We did not have a calm life, so my ancestors, figuratively speaking, held onto the plow with one hand, and with the other - for the hilt of the dagger ... - It would be unfair to ignore your translation activity ... - the translated word, unfortunately, loses its milk taste, the key initial murmur, but, having lost the translation school, we lost ourselves. The Great Pushkin wrote: "Translators are mail horses of education." I would like to note the efforts in this direction of the people's poet Kabardino-Balkaria Salikha Gurtuev, who opened the Caucasian writers' club and is its leader.
He also established the newspaper Literary Caucasus. Having illuminated the great creative heritage of the Caucasus on its pages, he opens up new young talents to the world. The editor of the Highlands newspaper Marat Gadzhiev deserves special gratitude. His efforts in Tbilisi opened a branch of the Caucasian House of Translations, where the creative forces of any region can find contacts and support. My last literary passion is the translations of Vazhi Pshavel.
I have translated and published in the Kumyk language the works of classics - A. Pushkin, M. Lermontov, A. Tarkovsky, S. Yesenin, E. Yevtushenko, K. Khatagurova, K. Kuliev, V. Shakespeare and others. Now I am translating V. Vysotsky at the request of Mark Tsibulsky for the poet’s house-museum in America. We add that on the stage of the Kumyk musical and drama theater translated by Badrutdin there are Shakespeare's “Macbeth”, plays by B.
Brecht, A. Ostrovsky, M. Gorky, V. Rozov ... and, finally, the laureate of the Journal of Friendship of the Peoples, the State Prize of Dagestan and various international prizes Badrutdin Magomedov, was already adopted in the new millennia in the new millennium. Members of the International Royal Center V. Shakespeare England, the city of Stratford. You know how we were worried about, learning about the death of the creator of the great film “The Father of the Soldier” Rezo Chkheidze.
I think that not only us, but the entire population of the former USSR, born in the depths of the century past, felt that a loved one had gone ... I want to say young people: to understand the soul of the Georgian people, it is enough to listen to their polyphonic chants and watch this film ... By ancient tradition, we were collected by the poetic peak of Vazhi Pshavela.
It is above all political peaks. I feel sorry for those who see only the “face of Caucasian nationality”, deliberately silent about the spiritual greatness of the true Caucasian, tested for centuries. The unity of the peoples of the Caucasus was an unshakable basis of this greatness. The large road scattered us, and unites us - great love. Our common pain and joy.
