After all, a lawyer is an individual profession, here it all depends on the personality, on its education, experience, human qualities. Without the development of a personal brand, the lawyer will be little known, and this entails less demand, and less earnings, and, as a result, a low level of satisfaction with his work.

What principles do you manage in your lawyer activity? I believe that the most important thing for a lawyer is to observe the ethics of advocacy. No wonder customers of lawyers are called principals. Trust is the key principle on which all the work of the advocacy is built. A person trusts a lawyer at times that he cannot entrust even a close relative or best friend.

The task of the lawyer is not only to protect the legitimate interests and rights of his principal, but also to maintain confidentiality. Respect for the principal is another important point. Whoever he is, but at the moment he is a principal, therefore, the lawyer must work in his interests, not forgetting about the rule of law. Many lawyers, unfortunately, are turning into intermediaries between law enforcement or justice and the customer today.

But even in this situation, it is still necessary to be guided by the requirements of the law, not to forget that the lawyer cannot be part of criminal activity, to assist in the implementation of some criminal plans. In addition, I believe that a lawyer, although he is a highly paid professional and should not do his job for free, but in some cases should show an understanding of the life situation of the principal.

For example, some things can be carried out for symbolic fees when you understand that this person needs to help, but he does not have funds to pay for expensive lawyer services. What, due to the lack of money, deprived of a pensioner, a simple worker, student, many children of qualified legal assistance, on whom, sometimes the whole fate depends? Of course not.

And in this, in my opinion, the ethics of lawyer activity consists of. How important are the ethical principles for a lawyer and how to observe them in our time? Someone says that in our time ethics is fading into the background. This is not at all like that. Moreover, now attention to the ethical side of the lawyer activity is much more close than before. Informatization of society, the involvement of millions of people in the media space, the distribution of social networks and messengers make the work of lawyers more and more transparent, and if some lawyer experiences obvious problems with the moral and ethical component of their activities, this will soon become known, and such a lawyer, believe me, is unlikely to be able to count on success.

What tools can a lawyer use a personal brand? In the process of creating his personal brand, a lawyer can use the same tools that any other professional uses. Since I have been an expert at the media for a long time, I will allow myself to give some tips that are based on my own experience of many years of construction of my personal brand. First of all, working with the media is important: a good lawyer should be in the focus of the media.

To publish articles, comments on relevant legal news, act as an expert on television, and so on. It is also very important to work with television. In addition, it is necessary to attend events, communicate with people, especially with experienced lawyers who have already achieved fame and success and can act for you in the role of peculiar mentors, if you conduct analogies with a business process.
