In ordinary life, I am far from cinema. Of course, “cargo”, “morphine”, “brother” and “brother-2” I saw, but I did not know who took them off. I was met by Alexei Oktyabrinovich himself. If I then understood that the director was in front of me, I would probably behave differently - more restrained. But it turned out as it turned out, arrogance helped me. The role in the Kochegar is my debut and great luck, even an accident.

Typically, actors need to graduate from a theater institute and start work with episodic roles. I have never strove for this, I do not even have an acting education. I always wanted to become a guide or a restaurant manager. I am studying at the University of Culture and Arts, I work as a model - I got from a modeling agency for samples. Filming in the cinema for me is a new life experience.

Perhaps a new stage. About the role: First, Balabanov gave me a script to read it at home. When I realized that this was my role, I called Alexei Oktyabrinovich. I play the daughter of the protagonist. In the yard of the E years. The father of my heroine is the Hero of the Soviet Union, a war veteran in Afghanistan. He was shell -shocked and now works as a stoker. This is a story about a person’s forgotten country, about people living in terrible conditions, without salary, without a future.

My heroine in this story is also without the future. There is a bed scene in the film: my young man was categorically against, did not even talk to me. I stubbornly convinced him that there was nothing wrong with this, because of the film we almost parted. About the selection of actors: as far as I know, the casting lasted two months, and the film was shooting one and a half.

Girls from Yakutia, from Moscow participated in the selection. It seems to me that the search for Aleksey Balabanov by the actors of the Yakut appearance is not accidental: it is like a continuation of the story of the unfinished film “River”, whose action took place in the Yakut taiga.

Then the main actress of the film Tuyar Svinoboev died in a car accident. This became a tragedy for Alexei Oktyabrinovich, the shooting was stopped. Now we shot Yakut scenes in Kronstadt. The role of Kochegar is played by the artist of the Yakut Drama Theater Mikhail Skryabin - he also starred in Balabanov’s unfinished film “River”. He does not seek to look better - he is what it is. A very free person. Some consider him strange, not inadequate, and he just lives as he likes, and says only what he thinks. He does not rude on the site, sometimes he can sit alone. He has a phrase that everyone loves: "Guys, let's do it talented." He does not ask the actors to play, he needs them to be himself.
